Road V. Wade
Scotty and Claire, two sisters from rural Wainwright, Alberta, traverse the harsh prairie highways in attempts to make it to the big city of Calgary. Their final destination? An abortion clinic. In the post Roe v. Wade reversal political climate, the girls keep their wits about them the only way they can: disco music, vulgar jokes, and each other’s company. Through their car windshield, Scotty and Claire face a world positioned against them and learn what it takes to care for themselves and each other.
