Our 2025 Spring Season
A lonely ghost tethered between worlds. Two friends estranged by the weight of their grief. One young girl who can see through the veil. Joined by an otherworldly entity, Monty’s lingering spirit clings to their only remaining legacy: the ones they left behind. When their soul stirs in the shadows, the living must confront a heartache that could reunite them—or tear them apart for good.
Ursa Petrovna has a big problem: her baby brother has vanished, leaving only a feisty goose squawking in his cradle. At the urging of her Tetushka, Ursa must journey into the forest to seek The Waymaker—an ancient spirit as unpredictable as they are powerful. Audience members will venture into the woods with Ursa as she navigates a thrilling world of Slavic folklore where time and reality seem to twist. To save her brother, Ursa must face her deepest insecurities and the daunting role of being an older sister. Just remember: in these woods, not everything is as it seems.
Our Typical Season
Every fall and spring semester, we put out a call for students to submit short plays, 30-45 minutes in length. We choose three plays for each season.
Then, teams of students are put together for each play: directors, designers, stage managers, and technical teams. Auditions are held by the directors to cast their productions. It’s a very quick process; each show has 1-4 weeks to rehearse, depending on their slot in the season.
Each show then has three performances. The shows are performed in the Barbara MacIntyre Theatre at the Phoenix, a little black-box studio theatre that offers flexibility for student designers.
Accessibility Guide
The accessibility guide is a document created for SATCo audience members attending our shows. This document contains information about trigger warnings and content notes, accessibility, and more.
We usually post the accessibility guide for each show a few days prior to the show’s opening performance. Please reach out to our Liaison if you have any questions or concerns!
